Today, 18 years ago my sister Namrita was joined in marriage with Sengrak Marak. It was a thrilling day full of excitement and sad
emotions too as we would be bidding dear Namrita goodbye.
Meghalaya (state) where she made her home with Sengrak is
in the North East of India very far from the plains.
Their culture is very alien to what we are used to.
Kudos to Namrita as she adapted herself
to this foreign culture and lifestyle.
Just like Ruth (of the Bible) she modified herself
to fit in with her husband 's people. And his
family and community adopted her as their own
very proud at the way she stands out among them.
God has blessed them with 2 lovely boys
Mishael soon to be 13 and
Rayguel 9 years old.
Congratulations to Namrita and Sengrak.
"May the lord give you increase
You and your children
May you be blessed
of the Lord
The heavens are the heavens of the Lord
But the earth He has given to the sons of men
May you be blessed of the Lord
(song based on Psalm 115;14-16)

This is Namrita 's favorite tree.
I don 't know what it is called.
But its green foliage is
a reminder that the Lord is a
shade over this family.

This is the area where the Maraks
are building their house
It is a lush green area
It gets plenty of rainfall.
Meghalaya is known for its forest wealth.
agriculture and tea gardens.

This is their plot of land.
A mountain stream flows by it.
They will harvest the water for their garden.

Here is Namrita with Mishael at
the construction site.She has a
traditional hand woven shawl
draped over her shoulders.
Work in progress.

When they were driving down to Guwahati
to get on the train to Allahabad
they took a photo of the beautiful
countryside of Assam (state).

These are pictures of some animals
in the Guwahati Zoo.

Assam has rich rain forests with
all kinds of wild life, the rhino , tiger and elephant
among them. It has a
flourishing timber industry too.
All the North Eastern states are
famous for their handicrafts.
It also has oil fields and mineral wealth.
Assam tea is exported all over the world.
The 4 states of Meghalaya,Nagaland, Mizoram and Manipur are predominantly Christian
Please do pray for the Maraks.
May they always walk in closeness
with the Lord with His shadow over them.
May the children be nurtured and directed in
the ways of the Lord.

Omega 3 Oil Supplements Help Beat Psychotic Mental Illness

Taking a daily Omega 3 oil from fish, hemp and/or flax seed can stave off mental illness in those at highest risk, trial findings suggest.

A three-month course of the supplement appeared to be as effective as drugs, cutting the rate of psychotic illness like schizophrenia by a quarter.

The researchers believe it is the omega-3 in oil - already hailed for promoting healthy hearts - that has beneficial effects in the brain.

A "natural" remedy would be welcomed, Archives of General Psychiatry says.
"The finding that treatment with a natural substance may prevent, or at least delay, the onset of psychotic disorder gives hope that there may be alternatives to antipsychotic drugs," the study authors said.

If young people can be treated successfully with Omega 3 oils, this is hugely preferable to treating them with antipsychotics.

Antipsychotic drugs are potent acids and can have serious side effects, which puts some people off taking them.

Omega 3 oil supplements from fish, hemp and flax, on the other hand, are generally well tolerated and easy to take, states Dr. Robert O. Young, Director of Research at the pH Miracle Living Center.

The international team from Austria, Australia and Switzerland tested the treatment in 81 people deemed to be at particularly high risk of developing psychosis.

Their high risk was down to a strong family history of schizophrenia, or similar disorders, or them already showing mild symptoms of these conditions themselves.

For the test, half of the individuals took fish oil supplements (1.2 grams of omega-3 fatty acids) for 12 weeks, while the other half took only a dummy pill. Neither group knew which treatment they were receiving.

Dr Paul Amminger and his team followed the groups for a year to see how many, if any, went on to develop illness.

Two in the fish oil group developed a psychotic disorder compared to 11 in the placebo group.

Based on the results, the investigators estimate that one high-risk adult could be protected from developing psychosis for every four treated over a year.

They believe the omega-3 fatty acids found in the supplements may alter brain signalling in the brain with beneficial effects.

Alison Cobb, of the mental health charity Mind, said: "If young people can be treated successfully with fish oils, this is hugely preferable to treating them with antipsychotics, which come with a range of problems from weight gain to sexual dysfunction, whereas omega-3s are actually beneficial to their general state of health."

Dr. Young suggests, "omega 3 oils are essential to the body because they help to maintain its alkaline design by reducing metabolic, environmental and dietary acids that can cause psycohosis."

Legendary historian Eustace Mullins dies

Legendary author of hundreds of books and pamphlets demolishing the lies of warmaking mainstream media, historian Eustace Mullins died Tuesday, Feb. 2, at the home of his caretaker in a small town in Texas.

Mullins, who would have been 87 in March, suffered a stroke three weeks ago in Columbus, Ohio. He had been on an extended tour of his admirers for much of the past year, visiting and chatting with many of his thousands of fans who jumped at the chance to buy his books from him in person.

The author of such incendiary books as “Secrets of the Federal Reserve,” “Murder by Injection,” and “The Curse of Canaan,” Mullins was harrassed by the FBI for almost a half century, and had one of his books burned in Germany in the 1950s. These stories are recounted in one of his books, “A Writ for Martyrs.”

A protege of the imprisoned patriotic poet Ezra Pound, Mullins compiled a well-researched corpus of works that detailed the passage down through time of a hereditary group of banker killers who have essentially ruled the world from behind the scenes since ancient times.

“Eustace Mullins was the greatest political historian of the 20th century, and not just because he was not beholden to the power structure that deters candid reports about significant events, but because, guided by the greatest poet of the 20th century who was imprisoned for broadcasting for peace, his meticulous research eventually uncovered virtually every political secret of the last 400 years,” said Internet essayist John Kaminski of Mullins’ passing.

“It’s a pity so many people are afraid to believe what Mullins told them, because it was much more of the truth than has ever been seen in our schools or our media,” Kaminski added. {source}

'Artist' displays Auschwitz model made from gold teeth of Holocau$t victims

The name 'Rolexgate' for this piece of 'art' depicting the entrance to Auschwitz couldn't be more fitting. The stories of the holocau$t and Auschwitz have put many a Rolex on the wrists of Jewish profiteers in the industry of history/guilt modification and extortion.

more photos at Haaretz

Jewish/Danish/Chilean artist Marco Evaristti is also looking for a pay day. He'll probably want to sell his 'art' to a well heeled collector or holocaust museum and continue the tradition of making money in the 'Shoah business.'

Part of Evaristti's story as in the Copenhagen Post ...
A proportion of the model’s materials come from gold teeth fillings of the camp’s prisoners, which included Evaristti’s own grandmother. It also includes a train car made of diamonds, while a Rolex watch showing the time a five minutes to 12 adorning the model’s entrance.

The exhibit was first displayed in late October at a gallery in Berlin, where it created such a furore that it was removed after just a few hours.

Evaristti said the exhibit wasn’t just a reminder of the death associated with the Holocaust, but also of the looting the Nazis conducted. He said he bought the teeth from an Austrian man a couple of years ago.

‘I had to appear to him to be a Nazi myself,’ said the artist. ‘I disguised myself and cut my hair very short.’

'I’m just glad I was able to buy those gold teeth myself, rather than them ending up in the hands of Nazis.’ {more}

In a TV program January 13  Evaristti explained that he had been invited to do the project by the Mosaisk Trosssamfund, the major Jewish organization in Denmark.

The Auschwitz entrance also contains teeth from Evaristti's grandmother. She survived the extermination camp, so Evaristi has according to himself, not bought, but inherited them. {more}
Hmm, the jewish tradition of extracting the gold from the teeth of their dead family members never occurred to me. I've missed out on saving some 'art' materials in the past. I'll have to remember that for any future pre-funeral arraignments.
