Out in the Cold

On January 2nd we took the children
to the Haathi (Elephant ) Park It was a very cold day with high wind chill factor.

The reluctant sun beckoned us outdoors.
So we thought its better
to shiver outdoors and enjoy
rather than indoors.
(In our state alone more than 250
people have died due to the cold)

Rayguel and Abner sliding down the Elephant trunk.
Mishael preferred to climb onto
the elephant 's back.

Abner 's balancing act.
Blowing soap bubbles.
It would have been no miracle if they had frozen.

Hello everyone
Nam, Am and Sonia with Rayguel.

Jan 4th found Sheeba shivering with cold
So I made her wear Abner 's T-shirt (discarded one)But poor Sheeba prefers
her birthday suit and felt
quite uncomfortable
in human garb.
I wrapped her up in a scarf and
shawls - she felt better.

This is my knitted coat.
The tag says Susan Bristol Ltd
made in Hong Kong.
I bought it from a Salvation Army (second hand) like place.
Its pretty warm.
Would people in the west
wear this as a house-coat?
Its so huge- size XL too big for me - I look 50 pounds heavier in it.But its very warm.
Temps in the 40s (10 C and below) tonight.
Its foggy outside.
The daytime was sunny and pleasant, so
we took the boys to
the Museum and a British Park.
Everyone has gone to bed (10.30pm)
Now its my turn, to clean up the kitchen and go to bed.
