Awake to Sleep

Hello friends today is a good opportunity to catch up on some sleep, you have a good excuse to give to the boss if they catch you taking forty winks at work, because
its World Sleep Day.This is what I got from the web.
WORLD SLEEP DAY 2010 -- MARCH 19, 2010
World Sleep Day is an international annual event, intended to be a celebration of sleep and a call to action on important issues related to sleep, including medicine, education, social aspects and driving. It aims to lessen the burden of sleep problems on society through better prevention and management of sleep disorders. World Sleep Day 2010 is being held on March 19th, under the slogan "Sleep Well, Stay Healthy".
This marks the third World Sleep Day event organized by the World Association of Sleep Medicine. This year's event involves the organization of local groups promoting sleep health, presentation of educational materials, a competition of best productions celebrating World Sleep Day, and exhibition of historic videos.
The World Sleep Day declaration is as follows:
Whereas, sleepiness and sleeplessness constitute a global epidemic that threatens health and quality of life,
Whereas, much can be done to prevent and treat sleepiness and sleeplessness,
Whereas, professional and public awareness are the firsts steps to action,
We hereby DECLARE that the disorders of sleep are preventable and treatable medical conditions in every country of the world.

Psalm 4 ;8 says
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety
Many nights I am unable to sleep due to worrisome thoughts or even tiring activity,or
a rush of Adrelin also prevents me from falling asleep. I avoid taking pill s and read till I drop off. Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night I try to pray for prayer requests that come to mind.
What do you do when sleep doesn 't come?Sheeba thanks everyone who sent her good wishes

While the neighbour 's pooch runs around in circles.
Trying to eat his tail LOL
I found this photo of mules or khachchars
on the Internet.
They are hard working animals,
beasts of burden..
Here they are carrying gravel in Haridwar (Uttrakhand -North India)
Some years ago they were used by city laundry men or dhobis
to carry loads of washing.
Now they have been banned from cities
One can find them in rural pockets.
They look so patient,
ready to fall off to sleep.

Now I am leaving for our church Friday prayer meeting.
See you when I return
PRAYER REQUEST
Please pray for my brother in law Prem and sister Anju
they are going through a difficult time
due the world economic crisis.
May the Lord part the waters for them.
Their faith is strong and
they are standing on the promises of God.
