Music , Food and Bloggie advice

Uncle Anthony, a retired machinist, came to visit us

yesterday from very far away . Let me

tell you that in India, Uncle and such terms are used to

show respect for people (he is not a relative).

Anthony and his wife Mary were raised in a Catholic orphanage.

They were our friends from a very young age and my

parents mentored them on various issues like family life,

and education.

About 30 years ago my parents shared the Gospel amd Mama
gave them a Bible.

They had never heard of the Gospel message as the traditions of their

church overshadowed it.

They were thrilled and accepted Christ.

Although they were friends with their mother church they started having fellowship with believers.

Now they are grandparents and their

2 sons and daughters in laws have good jobs.
Daughter Anju, named after my sister is
married to a Pastor and she herself is a preacher.

Uncle Anthony is a self taught muscian and after
retirement he is using his skills to glorify God.
In his neighbourhood they have evening worship meeting daily.
People gather in various homes to sing praises to God.
They prefer this to cable TV.
Anthony is a part time music teacher in a
non-Christian music academy.
He asked permission to use Christian songs in
his teaching and the management allowed him to do that.
Everyone enjoys songs based on the Word of God.
Mama and I were so thrilled to hear this.
I gave him a MP 3 CD with 10 hours of
music and talk.
God is using his people wonderfully.
To God be the glory alone.

My adopted sister Sonia who lives in Lucknow

used her culinary skills to raise money

for her church in Lucknow where she lives.

She was requested by her church board to keep

a food stall at a church sale.

She dished up delicious kebabs with

3 kilos or 6 pounds of mince meat.

And they were snapped up in no time.

That 's a lot of hard work.

She makes lovely food for us whenever

she visits us.

My bloggie friend Penni
creates delightful graphics which she posts
daily to be taken freely.
I love her piquant posts and humour.
She has some BLOG ADVICE.
