Eating Fruit May Be Hazardous To Your Health and Fitness

The following email was written to help people understand Dr. Young's position on sweet fruit and why most fruit may be hazardous to health, energy, vitality and fitness.

Thanks for your responses about the Dr. Young article concerning Fruit. Believe me, it's not easy for me to believe, and I loooove fruit, however I choose to trust the facts.

First of all, alkaline living doesn't mean you have to go on Juice all day and all your life. It is purely by preference. You can have so much choices to eat tasty and healthy alkaline food at the same time. There are so many recipes in Dr. Robert and Shelley Young's book and many free recipes as well on their website.

Second, Dr. Young's research has only found that sweet fruit are harmful for your health. Avocados, tomatoes, grapefruits, lemons, limes etc. are low sugar fruit and are good for you.

According to Dr. Young's research, the human body doesn't need sugar at all. Blood sugar is a digestive and metabolic waste in the body. The less sugar or no sugar the better. I know it's hard to believe. I understand that you have done a lot of study about health, however I'm wondering if you have read their books. Especially the one called "sick and tired?", it will explain a lot about how food and lifestyle effect our health. I believe that it won't harm you if you try to read their books and see if they make sense to you.

Stu Mittleman, Tony's friend, studied th human body for many years and he proved Dr. Young's research by setting all kinds running records. He ran 1000 miles in 11 days in 1982 and then in 2000, Stu ran a 3,000-mile journey from San Diego to New York City in a remarkable 56 days! Tony also invited Dr. Steven Gundry to UPW as an special speaker in the September Life Mastery. Dr. Gundry has been doing a lot of research on how food effects the genes. His book is called "Dr. Gundry's Diet Evolution: Turn Off the Genes That Are Killing You". Although his diet does NOT eliminate animal products, he totally agrees with Dr. Young that sugar is making us sick, tired and aging us fast, including sweet fruit.

Dr. Gundry said, "fifty years ago before we owned refrigerators, people could only eat fruit once a year and in season. The winter months was the time we would ingest more fat to prepare for long winter. Now people abuse the use of sugar and fruit sugar with all the conveniences we have. We can eat fruit anywhere and anytime. Believe it or not it is killing us.

Dr. Rosedale also promotes a low sugar way of living even though he has a lot of difference with Dr. Young. They do have the same views on sugar, including all kinds of nature sugar. I'm sure you are familiar with his books.

Yes, there are people who eat everything and smoke and drink and have lived over 100 years. However, we are talking about the general rules for human health, not any exceptional individual case. I would rather think you agreed that we are not suitable to apply eating fruit and living long to everyone. As you know, what we eat, drink, smell, how we think, how and how much we move, our surrounding environment, our genetics, etc, can all have an impact on the quality and quantity of ones life.

A grounded and cool life attitude is critical for health. It's like the good driver of your body. However, if the the body is being fed with low quality nutritional food, it's just like a car filled with sand and stones or crappy fuel, even with the best driver on the planet, it won't go very far.

Yes, sadly human bodies have had to adapt to all kinds of fuels man has invented over the years, not necessarily what they prefer to have. When a body is broken down, Dr. Young's poetical lifestyle and diet can reverse any symptom in a very short time. I think that proves that he has found the code for the human body.

My understanding about nutrition is what I see, not what other people say. All the years we have learned from biology and health books, medical advisers, so called "nutritional knowledge" that has lead to more and more people becoming sick and tired. Sarcastically, they can't do much about it when they embrace the 3 step treatment, which world wide trained medical doctors are doing: first pills, then needles, and last knifes and radiation. The destiny? Hell or Heaven? Whatever you chose to believe.

That's enough to make me loose confidence in what I have heard and learned before.

I heard Tony Robbins talk about pH Miracles a year and half ago. I liked it and started apply some of the principals. I felt increased energy, but I was doing only 50% even after I had read the Young's books and listened to their CD's and watched their DVD's.

I didn't become a total believer until I saw pH Miracles happen before my own eyes at the Young's Retreat Center, in Valley Center, California, in March and April of 2009. I now know that I have found the "Golden Key to Human health." I became a believer when I saw our platinum sister Larelle May recover from metastatic cancer in just 2-3 months. I also saw many other people with all kinds of serious dis-eases recover as well.

About cancer - You are absolutely correct. Yes, everyone is freak out about cancer because they are mislead by the current medical establishment. Cancer is not a disease it is a symptom of dietary and lifestyle acidity.

Dr. Young teaches us that there is only one dis-ease or so-called disease and only one cure. He suggests that we only have one unhealthy condition - an over-acidic condition. Change the acid condition and the symptoms of dis-ease will be gone.

In New York when the garbage workers were on strike, there was a significant increase in rats running around all over the city. When the garbage was cleared, the rats disappeared. Same as in our own body. Our modern medical system is so busy trying to catch all kinds of creatures in a sick acidic body, they can't see what caused the body to get sick in the first place. The cause is the result of acidic lifestyle and dietary choice, which causes a polluted or filthy internal environment.

Our body needs chlorophyll from fresh green plants, alkaline minerals, alkaline water and good mono and polyunsaturated oils to make healthy red blood cells to support the whole body systems. We have the same system as our ancestors who lived up to 1000 years. Over time the human mind has created "food" to feed us which is processed and acidic. Food should be fuel for the body, not for temporary pleasure or an entertaining function.

The World Health Organization and Cancer Foundation have spent 10 years to study which foods and lifestyles will cause a cancerous condition. The book is around 700 pages and has never received enough publicity primarily due to money related motivations of all industries.

Finally, please note that Dr. Young suggests you can have 20% acidic food in your diet once your body has achieved a balanced pH level. So you can still enjoy some of your favorite fruit once in a while. It's all about balance. Unfortunately the reality is most of us on the planet are overly acidic from an inverted way of living, eating and thinking making the eating of fruit a dangerous and unhealthy choice.

Pleasure or heath, that is the question? I believe we all make our own choices. As Keith Cunningham said "everything has a price in life", but first of all, we need to know the truth of nutrition, health and fitness. Dr. Young holds the key to that truth - the "Fountain of Youth!"
