Powerless in the City

This evening I planned on attending a

Praise and Worship music concert.

but something told me not to go.

And I am glad I didn 't because

at about 6pm our area power transformer

which regulates our electricity, blew out with a

booming sound and we were without power all evening.

They hooked us to a temporary transformer at

about 10pm.

I am glad I stayed home because Ma would

have felt very anxious and insecure in the dark

although we have a battery run UPS

but it doesn 't run everything in the house.

Sometimes one has to listen

their instincts.

Technology wins every time

Specially failed or faulty technology.
This is a gizmo I am looking for.
I have bits and pieces of it.
Just have to assemble it.
